It’s a great school for learning and fun!”

I came to Treehouse Preschool as a Me and My Parent teacher in Spring of 2005 and became administrator in January 2006. I am now the Director of the School and am responsible for the relationship between the school and church, the State of Ohio guidelines for childcare facilities and administration side of the school. I have a passion for working with children and their families whether it be in the school or the church.
I love watching the children experience new things, understand new concepts and become friends with new children. They are like sponges, soaking everything in they can and we try and fill up that sponge every day.
I have lived in the Akron area most of my life. I attended Westminster College where I earned my bachelor’s degree in math and secondary education. I then went to The University of Akron for post-graduate work in early childhood education.
My husband and I have two adult children, a daughter and a son, and we live in Tallmadge. I love to be crafty, watch CSI shows and be an active parent to my “children”.

Kelly Benson, Teacher
I am originally from a suburb of Chicago, but moved to Ohio when I started high school. I went to college in Cincinnati where I got my degree in photography. I currently enjoy my time on the board of the Summit County Mothers of Multiples Organization.
I now live in Tallmadge with my husband and our boy-girl twins. My own children went to the Treehouse and seeing how much they grew socially and how much they learned made me want to help develop those skills in other children. I am not so far removed from the life with a 3 year-old, so I can relate as a parent with small children. My twins are complete opposites, so I understand that all children learn in different ways and on a pace that is right for them. I believe in having fun while learning so teaching at Treehouse is a perfect place for me. I look forward to working with you and your child as they start their first learning experience in a classroom setting.
Lisa Faluotico, Teacher
I have had the pleasure of teaching at Treehouse Preschool since 2006, but have over 20 years of teaching experience. I have an Early Childhood Development Associate’s Degree and continue to further my education by taking classes under the State of Ohio’s Early Learning Content Standards Program. My goal is to provide your child with a loving preschool experience encouraging him or her in social, emotional, physical and academic development.
These preschool experiences, along with additional pre-reading and writing skills will have your child ready for the challenges ahead in kindergarten. I love being a teacher and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Working with this age group, providing them with opportunities to succeed and seeing their progression from the beginning of the year to the end, is the challenge I value the most.
I live in Stow with my husband of almost 30 years. I have two sons, and my cats that I really love. I am originally from Upstate New York and have been living in Ohio since 1998. In my spare time I love walks in the cool weather, swimming, movies and all sporting events.
Christin Poling, Teacher
I have joined the staff of Treehouse Preschool in 2023 as the 4-year-old and enrichment co-teacher. I have lived in Ohio most of my life and have a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Akron. My husband and I have two dogs and three children, our youngest even graduated from Treehouse. We had such a wonderful experience at the school, I was so glad when I heard about the opportunity to work here.
I think it is so exciting when I can help a child understand a new concept. I especially loved it when they want to learn even more! I am really looking forward to working with the 4-year-olds and helping them grow. I believe it is important to give them the best start possible, so havin gthe chance to encourage them at this age is wonderful.
I believe every child is wonderfully unique and I enjoy getting to know their individual peronalities.
Jamie Smith, Teacher
My name is Jamie Smith, and I am a co-teacher at Treehouse Preschool. I grew up in Tallmadge playing many sports, including being a part of the State Champions in softball. I graduated from Tallmadge High School, and I earned my bachelors in sports management and marketing from Mount Union College. My husband and I have two amazing kids, three dogs, two turtles, and a fish.
Both our children graduated from Treehouse preschool and developed some wonderful relationships with the staff. I have been a Treehouse substitute for many years, and I also subbed in Tallmadge Schools. In my spare time I am either watching or coaching my kid’s sports. I love to see them having fun and learning new things. I also love music, movies, and dancing. I love working with the kids at Treehouse and watching them grow over the years. I am very excited to be teaching this year and look forward to working with your children.
